On Monday, Apple released the first version of Apple Intelligence, its suite of artificial intelligence features. This suite will improve Siri, automatically generate emails and images, and sort notifications.
The new software, called Apple Intelligence, has been released in the developer beta of iOS 18.1. It is also available in similar releases for iPad and Mac. Currently, it is only accessible to registered Apple developers. The Apple developer program costs $99 a year.
Shortly, it will be made available to the general public. However, version 18.1 suggests that Apple Knowledge won’t be released alongside new iPhone hardware, as one might expect it to be launched with iOS 18 in the fall.
It will only work on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max and newer.
