1. Bhangarh Fort, Rajasthan
This fort is near the Sariska Tiger Reserve in the Alwar district of Rajasthan. This fort was built in the 17th century, Madho Singh I grew up there.
The story behind it is that the princess Ratnavati lived in this fort, where a Tantrik(black magician) fell in love with that princess, but she realized his plans which ordered her to be hanged but before dying he got black magic done or cursed the whole fort that no soul in this palace would ever get salvation.
The locals say that they hear noise every night so many paranormal activities come there and even Archeology of India also stops the visitors from visiting at night, you can find that there is no man around the fort until sunrise.
2. Agrasen Baoli, Delhi
It is located near Connaught Place, Delhi. It was built by Maharaja Agrasen, It is 60 meters long and 15 meters wide, it has 108 steps, and it was built to store water in old times to avoid drought. There are many haunted stories related to it, some strange noises at night and so many pigeons form groups and stay inside the tomb without any reason by all these people to avoid visiting at night.
3. Dumas Beach, Gujarat
It is near the Arabian Sea, 21 km southwest of Surat city, Gujarat. It is believed that there are many stories prevalent here that it was the burial ground of a Hindu, due to which its sand is gray.
The more beautiful it looks at night, the more it has to be feared at night People go there during the day, and people leave as soon as the night falls.
If someone dares to stay on the beach, it either vanishes the next day or is a very bad experience. Because of this, it comes in the scariest beaches of India.
4. Jatinga, Assam
This village is in Assam, Dima Hasao district. Assam has an incredible feature of India. This place is famous for the Mysterious Suicide of Birds, which is the place where birds come to commit suicide.
Local people say that birds like the kingfisher, pond heron, and tiger bittern are victims of such strange behavior. It took between September to November between 7 pm and 10 pm. No one knows why the birds come here to commit suicide.
5. Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad
It is the largest complex Film City in the world. This led to the discovery of one of the most haunted places in India. People say that this film city was made at the place of the battle of Nizam Sultans.
It is also mentioned the hotel of Ramoji, workers say that they have felt many paranormal activity. Most of the film stars avoid shooting here.
6. Dow Hill Kurseong, West Bengal
This is India’s most haunted hill, this hill is full of beautiful views and it is a very scary place at night. Many people claim that someone is staring at them at night.
They claimed to have seen a headless runaway boy who had disappeared into the woods, which is why people avoid going there at night.
7. Kuldhara Village, Rajasthan
This village is in the Jaisalmer district of Rajasthan. This village was established 300 years ago by Paliwal Brahmins, this village was blessed with prosperity.
But state minister Salim Singh fell in love with the girl of the village and wanted to marry her if they refused he would turn the village into a graveyard but Paliwal Brahmins disappeared from the village in a single day or cursed the village of Kuldhara, this village would never be inhabited, due to which it is lying deserted till date. That’s why people avoid going there at night.
8. Lambi Dehar Mines, Mussoorie
It is located in Mussoorie at a distance of 35 km from Dehradun. This mine is called India’s Haunted Mine.
In 1990 workers living near the mine died of lung disease. Local people say that about 50,000 workers died in this mine. Every night in this haunted Dehar Mine, they hear the voices of the workers crying, and screaming.
9. Shaniwar Wada, Pune
It was considered a symbol of the valor of the Marathas. There is a mysterious story associated with this fort, the local people say that Narayan Rao the grandson of Peshwa Baji Rao fought for the ruler’s ship, but his uncle Raghunath Rao and his wife Anandi Bai together killed 18-year-old Narayan Rao.
His body parts were cut off and thrown into the river. Locals say that because of this his spirit used to scream, crying for help every night hence the tour of the fort lasts till 6 pm.
10. G P block, Meerut
This bungalow is in Meerut, U.P. Local people say that a girl wearing a sari roams here at night and four boys are seen drinking alcohol. This bungalow has been vacant since 1947. People are afraid to go near it so it comes in 10 haunted places in India.
